Question : I have two moles on my body, both are about the size of a pencil eraser. I have other moles, but, these are suspicious. They are both Black and XXXXXXX in color and irregular in shape. I have not been to a doctor about these, but now I have one under my right thumb nail. Since all of these are small should I see a Doctor?
Brief Answer:
worthwhile to see a doctor for examination and skin biopsy
Detailed Answer:
Moles can be related to skin cancer, especially if you are fair skinned or if there is any family of skin cancer. Moreover any mole which changes in shape, size, colour, has irregular borders, or a newly developing mole should be examined by a doctor as they are against benign lesion.
I recommend you see a dermatologist who can examine the mole and take a skin biopsy.
Hope I answered all your queries.
Wish you good health.
