Brief Answer:
Cefipime causes gastric irritation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to HealthcareMagic,
This is obviously an allergic reaction.
Cefipime causes gastric irritation leading to allergic reaction. If something like Omez 40 had been given before meal and Cefipime after meal--there would not have been a reaction.
Now give him Omeprazole 20 twice a day before meals
Fexofenadine 100 once a day any time.
Benadryl/Avil/Certrizine at night. If the rash does not go away--he may have to stop Cefipime and be given steroids.

Regards
