What Causes Burning Sensation In Penis?

default
Posted on Tue, 10 Feb 2015
Question: I had unprotected oral sex 6 years back. For the last one year I have noticed stain in my underwear occasionally. However I dont have any feeling or pain in my penis except for slight burning sensation when I reduce my water intake. Just wondering if this is related to any sexual diseases. I dont have any marks or bumps around my penis.

Brief Answer:
I do not think it is related

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for usinghealthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

On primary basis I will say it is not related as having slight burning sensation is normal when you reduce water intake. As you know urine eliminates waste from out body and if we reduce water intake, the concentration of waste products increases in the urine. Similarly colonizing bacteria can not be flushed in urethra by less quantity of urine which may cause slight irritation and burning sensation.

Considering all these facts it is a healthy habit to take at least three liters a day to keep your kidney and urinary system healthy.

Regarding urethral discharge there is possibility of Non gonoccoccal (almost negligible) infection although there is no possibility of infection which remains there for six years.
I think you need to get urine microscopy first to process further. If you have already done it and got normal results do not worry about it.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

Your symptoms are not related to chlamydia and not classical of. I just kept a remote possibility of it.

As I said earlier get investigated for this and if it comes as a normal report don't worry about it.

I hope this helps you.

Thanks.

I visitied the pathology centre and appreared for the following test with negative results. Per reports, nothing has been deducted.

Chlamydia trachomatis PCR
Neisseria gonorrhoeae PCR

Given that I have no other symptoms accept slight discharge occassionally I will accept this as normal.
