Brief Answer:
How is your sexual life? Do you get erections?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this decrease in the size of your penis that you have reported. How is your sexual drive and performance? Reduced size of penis is not a possible consequence of thyroid surgery and am wondering if this is feasible. The size may decrease diameter wise but not the length. Check and make sure you are getting this right.

I am so sorry but am sure there is no medication to increase the size of your penis at this age. If your erections and performance are god, I will advise that you do not get too worried about this. If it is of huge concern, then consider seeing a urologist for further examination.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

well my wife and i have always enjoyed a great sex life (almost every day) for 30 years;so i have had more than my share of great sex. but we both really miss it,she is in her middle 50's and still drop dead beauitful. we are averaging once or twice a week; but it is just kind of ok;more like you get yours and i get mine...not much of the passion we use to share.. she 's afraid if we get rowdy it will kill me; which i can't think of a better way to go;but it weights heavy on her mind. i do have limitations. i suffer from diabetes;and high blood pressure;as well as the handful of drugsthat i must take to make up for the lack of a thyroid. it does play hell with my physical efforts.. i do still work out in the gym;but on a very limited basis...i've given up most of my other outside hobbies..i just don't feel like doing them.. i am not complaining lucky to be here i know;just wishing it could be better

AM glad you both are undesrtanding on this!

Detailed Answer:
HI,

Thank you so much for this detailed information. Your sex life may not be as it was before but I expected it to decrease over time. Your interest stays the same but sex is an exercise and our levels of endurance cannot be the same over time. What matters most is that you are understanding on this and your wife as well. Your other disease conditions are more likely to have an impact on this, especially diabetes than the thyroid problems.

Decreased salt intake, regular exercise and healthy diet are great additions to drugs for managing diabetes and hypertension. Please, make use of these tools.

Keep the positive spirit. You have a loving wife and that's a great source of support. If you would require help with any other medical condition, please do not hesitate to bring it to my attention.
