Question: My Son keep squeezing eyes frequently. I don't see any redness or water coming out. I asked him to stay away from TV but issue is still there. Any generic medicine I can use or any home remedy?

Brief Answer:
Seems follicular conjunctivitis

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.

This seems follicular conjunctivitis. Get examined by an ophthalmologist to confirm diagnosis. I have seen this regularly in my practice and these children respond to keterolac eye drops marketed as Acular LS eye drops to be put in 3 times a day for about 4 to 6 weeks. These children respond slowly, but this is safer than steroids where the response is quicker.
Continue with medication for a while and do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard.
