Brief Answer:
DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for additional information.

First of all, heavy bleeding may occur among some percentage women in this age group. Hormonal imbalance (progesterone deficiency) & improper ovulation may cause abnormal heavy bleeding.

However, we have to rule out other possible causes of heavy bleeding in this context. These are as follows:

1) Uterine fibroid & polyp (body and cervical region)
2) Adenomyosis or endometrial hyperplasia
3) Use of certain medication etc.

Complete physical examination including pelvic/ speculum exam and ultrasound scan will be worthwhile to rule out underlying pathology and confirm diagnosis.

TREATMENT: There is certain treatment protocol with initiation of haemostatic agent (like Tranexamic Acid ) combined with oral progesterone tab. It is quite helpful to reduce or control bleeding. Kindly, consult with her Gynecologist for complete prescription.

If above medical treatment fails to control bleeding, then approach would be surgical by the means of Dilation and curettage (D&C), Operative hysteroscopy to remove polyp, endometrial ablation in case of hyperplasia.

Wish her good health and take care yourself. Maintain genital hygiene properly. Take healthy diet with IRON supplement.

Hope, I have answered your query. If you don't have any other query, you can close the discussion.
