Brief Answer:
Need complete evaluation. Follow advices.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) Period cycle is reduced to 22-23 days and it indicates one type of dysfunctional uterine bleeding, called polymenorrhea.

There are several reasons related with this. It includes mental stress, emotional upset, psychological factor, hormonal imbalance, uterine fibroid or cervical polyp, endometriosis (uterine pathology), Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD), thyroid disorder, frequent ovulation due to hyperactivity of the anterior pituitary gland etc.

2) The possibilities can be narrowed by some investigation like ultrasound scan, LH/FSH, thyroid profile, STD profile, blood sugar, blood estrogen & progesterone level, Hemoglobin%, urine examination etc.

3) Treatment: You need to undergo pelvic and clinical examination with above mentioned test to pinpoint the diagnosis and underlying cause. So please consult with your gynecologist for proper medication and suggestive measures. Most of the patient are treated with cyclical progesterone.

Do some basic things to improve quality of healthy life as follows:

1) Avoid stress by yoga, meditation or deep breathing regularly 20-30 times at a time. Practice in the morning session.

2) Take healthy diet with added protein, vitamin & iron supplements

3) Drink plenty of fluids/water and eat green vegetables & fresh fruits.

4) Maintain personal hygiene and need adequate sleeping.

Review with test results. Hope I have answered your query. Wish your good health and take care.
