ear pain

Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear about your ear pain. I am not sure if the pain your experiencing is the actual ear lobe or inner ear pain. If the pain is just the ear lobe then you have probably sustained sunburn to the ear. This will get better with time and if you add aspirin that will also help reduce the redness and the pain. When out golfing or whenever you are outdoors you must wear a hat that has a wide brim. This will be the only way to prevent sunburn and further sun damage to your ear lobes. One of the most frequent location of skin cancer is the ear lobes.

If your pain is the inner ear then you may have an ear infection. If that is what is happening then I recommend you see a medical provider. Only by looking at the ear drum can we tell if you have an ear infection.
