Question : hello. i have just had an operation, a testicular exploration to be precise. i am taking oflaxacin tablets two times a day. i have always struggled to take tablets, so I have been crushing them (don't know if that makes any difference with what I am about to say so i thought I would mention it), I have come up in a rash all over my chest and stomach, it is not itchy. can you help me with what this could be thanks.
Brief Answer:
Discontinue oflaxacin
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
This is probably allergic reaction to antibiotic and it should be discontinued. You should also take synopen or similar antihistamines. Antibiotic should be replaced. if you have breathing difficulties and dizziness you should see ER. Wish you good health. Regards
