Brief Answer:
Suggest nerve biopsy

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.
I would suggest testing a nerve biopsy.
This is important to know the cause of your neuropathy.
Once the cause is known specific cause csn be treated and that would have a better effect on reducing the pain then anything else.
Meanwhile, a prescription for pregabalin and methylcobalamin should be used.
Gabapentin may be used If that doesn't help.
your regular medicines may continue temporarily till the pregabalin or gabapentin take effect. Thereafter they can be slowly tapered and stopped.
Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
