Question : Hi! I track my cycles and have noticed that I experience vagunal itch only several days after I ovulate until my period and then it goes away until the next cycle. What could this be? I do not have it between my period and ovulation at all.

Thanks for contacting health care magic.

This is probably vaginal candidiasis with the itching after ovulation categorically and going off during menses.

I would suggest you to visit your gynecologist after ovulation during the itching for a pelvic examination and a PAP smear and vaginal smear for culture , to rule out fungal infection.
