Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
minor amount of spotting is quite normal and you need not worry.
As there is no discharge or pain or rash or burning urination etc .there is no possibility of classical STDS .
Menstrual irregularities are possible around peri-menopausal period.
You can allay fears of STD.
You can get back to me for any clarifications.
Thank you

Thank you very much. I now hope its not pregency . To old for that. How long should I wait for the spotting to stop before I try seeming a professional. Or is this going to be my future as menopause takes over?

Brief Answer:
Not pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.
with the description given and menstruation was there for 5 days .it is not possible to be pregnant immediately after cycles. Also age is also a limiting factor.
Pregnancy depends on timing of ovulation and intercourse.safe period for intercourse is before 9th day and after 21st of menstrual cycle if regular cycles.
so you can allay fear totally of pregnancy
You can get back to me for any clarifications else please close the discussion and rate.
Thank you
Dr Bharatesh
