Brief Answer:
Kindly meet a dermatologist. Do not make your own diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear. First of all i would like to tell you, don't look in the internet and make your own diagnosis for yourself. It is very dangerous. If you put some symptoms in the internet it ll show you umpteen number of diseases and everything will bewilder you.

Do you have sensation of something crawling under your skin or hair?

It can occur in many condition. Some of them are:

1. menopause (i.e. hormone withdrawal). This can happen in your case. Are your periods normal and regular?

2. pesticide exposure
3. mercury poisoning,
4. diabetic neuropathy,
5. skin cancer
6. syphilis
7. Lyme disease or
8. herpes zoster (shingles)
9. methamphetamines, cocaine poisoning
10. alcohol withdrawal
11. benzodiazepine withdrawal
12. side effect of opioid analgesics
13. Morgellons disease

Since you want to know about Morgellons disease i will tell you the signs and symptoms-

Morgellons disease is an uncommon, unexplained skin disorder characterized by sores, crawling sensations on and under the skin, and fiber-like filaments emerging from the sores. It's not certain what these strings are. Some say they are wisps of cotton thread, probably coming from clothing or bandages. Others say they result from an infectious process in the skin cells. Further study is needed.

Signs and symptoms-

1.Skin rashes or sores that can cause intense itching
2. Crawling sensations on and under the skin, often compared to insects moving, stinging or biting
3. Fibers, threads or black stringy material in and on the skin
4. Severe fatigue
5. Difficulty concentrating
6. Short-term memory loss

So yes, one of the symptoms can be fibrous particles (black or any color) coming out from skin or hair or the sores in particular, and it may resemble gnats.

I suggest you to kindly meet a dermatologist, who will take your history in detail, do physical examination of the sites and order for any investigations if required.

Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
