Question : Dear Dr. I have been taking Fluoxetine 10MG a day. I thought I was developing a UTI But went to have a urine test and the PA said it was clear. I still have urgency ,stinging, and pressure. I feel like I have to urinate but it just begins to trickle out half the time. I am sure this a U . Do I return to different doctor?

You seem to have Over Active Bladder .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .
Based on the fact that urgency for urination without positive evidence of UTI is most likely to be due to Over Active Bladder (OAB) syndrome .
Consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to rule out UTI or stone disease
1) Urine culture
2) Urodynamic study of bladder
3) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen .
Start taking Darifenacin once daily .This will help to reduce urgency for urination and frequency for urination .
