Question : I have this rash of itchy red bumps that are filled with clear liquid on my butt. They itch extremely badly and burn. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and it's not going away. It seems like I got it around the same time I got a sinus cold. Not sure if that's related or not. It started in one spot on my butt and has now spread to both sides and a little on my thighs. Any idea what this could be??? I was thinking maybe a yeast infection rash?

                                    Brief Answer:
infection, herpes
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
The picture of you rash looks like it is infected and for this you need to see a doctor and get antibiotics. The way you describe it, sounds like it is possibly herpes. Herpes is a viral infection that presents with blisters that are painful and burn. It is very contagious. If you have had contact with anyone with herpes you need to see your doctor about this to be tested. If it is herpes then you can have recurrent infections and you want to know if it is herpes or not. Even if it is a herpes infection it looks infected so you will definitely need to get to a doctor as soon as possible.
