10 Yr Old Sustained Severe Blunt Force Trauma Into Lower Abdomen, Bleeding Penis With Pain. Any Internal Injury ?
My 10 yr old son just sustained severe blunt force trauma at a playground by having a spring-type riding toy thrust into his lower abdomen/upper genital area. His penis shows signs where it was scraped and is now bleeding . He is complaining of a lot of pain in the area above his penis (internally) where you would find pubic hair on someone older. Should i be concerned about any internal injury or could this just be the area where he will have a deep contusion?? thank you

It is wise to consult if there is an injury of such a force.
If you decide to be at home, you probably can safely do if--
1. There is no actively bleeding wound.
2. He has passed clear urine.
3. He is passing flatus.
4. There is no abdominal distension.
5. there is severe pain.
It is always better to see physically in such cases, AS HE IS YOUNG AND HAS A LONG AND BRIGHT FUTURE.
