12 Year Old, Swelling In Lymph Node On Neck, Drainage In Throat, Change In Voice

My 12 year old son has a lymph node on the left side of his neck that has been swelling and receding for the past month. He does not have a sore throat but occassionally complains of drainage in his throat. It tends to swell after he has spent a lot of time outdoors on the weekend and improves when he is inside more during the week. He doesn't feel bad and his appetite is very healthy. His voice is currently changing.

Thanks for your interest in HCM.It is better if you consult an ENT surgeon as he seems to be suffering from Recurrent throat infection with the draining lymphadenitis, whenever he is going out, because of exposure.
