14 Weeks Pregnant, Using Clotrimazole Cream. Is It OK?

Hi there, I went to the pharmacy yesterday and bought some Clotrimazole cream for my thrush. I told the pharmicist that i am 14 weeks pregnant and he said it would be fine and to just not insert the applicator very deep, im just double checking if it is safe for me to use at all? (my thrush is pretty bad with big cuts from itching) :-)
