18 Month Old Child, Pain In Testicles, Rock Hard Testicular Sac, Swelling, Sac Hardening On Urination. Causes And Treatment?

My 18 month old son is having serious pain in his testicles. He refuses to sit in the bathtub and fights to get his diaper changed. The area is not red or dry, however his sack is rock hard. I can t hold him long enough to see if it s more swollen on one side or the other. I did notice the sack got hard when he peed (it was soft beforehand). What could be causing this?

Your child may be having a hydrocoele / hernia for which you should take him to a General Surgeon & get assessed.
Take care.
