2 Year Old Son, Varying Temperature, Irritable, Loose Stool, Red Spots Like Heat Rash. Any Ideas?

my two year old son has been "not himself" for the past few days, temp up and down 102 degrees -98
very irritable, sick to his stomach once, very loose stool. He has now broke out in a rash , little red spots looks like heat rash, very prominent in skin folds - arm pits, and groin.
Any ideas to what this could be?

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

It is very difficult to answer your query regarding the cause for the rash without having a look at the rash. Since it appeared a couple of days following fever it is most likely viral in origin. Rashes do appear after a viral infection. I would suggest that you get your son examined by a doctor who shall guide you.
