4 Year Old, Shivering, Cold Hands, Feet, No Fever. Medical Attention Required?
I just woke up and noticed my 4 yr old son shivering . He has cold hands and feet . He seems responsive when we try to talk to him. My wife is currently cradling him in hopes that her body heat will help stop the shivering. We checked his temp and he has no fever. We checked it with a thermometer . Should we bring him to e doctor.

shivering or rigors is an early sign of fever to follow provided you are sure that it is shivering only!
Rigors can come in different conditions like malaria,urinary tract infection,cholecystitis and some other viral infections also.They usually stop within few minutes followed by fever and you have to show him to the doctor definitely.
