8 Days Late Periods. Negative Pregnancy Tests. Was Under Antibiotics For Yeast Infection. Am I Pregnant?
Hello Dr. Samuel I am currently 8 days late on my period i took 2 pregnancy test one 3 days after i was late and it was negative, and the other test 7 days of being late it was also negative. I also was really sick the week before my period was due which was july 7. and i was on antibiotics (amoxicillin 875 mg) for 5 days, I even got a yeast infection after the antibiotic use. I just want to make sure I am pregnant or not?

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
Illness can delay your periods by a week or two.
However you can recheck your urine pregnancy test after a week to detect late implantation.
Also blood for Beta HCG. Increasing titres suggest pregnancy.
Transvaginal scan gives a better idea about missed periods.
