Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Crocin at the dose of 10-15 mg/kg/dose can be given every 6-8 hourly.
For 8 months child average weight 8-10 kg 5 ml is ok.
There is no problem with one extra dose.
If the fever is not getting down with crocin you can give Syrup Meftal P at
dose of 2-3 mg per kg per dose i.e around 2-3 ml to your child every 8 to
12 hourly along with tepid sponging.
You should consult with your pediatrician for complete examination and find
out the cause of fever.
wishing good health for your child.
