Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Vyvanse contains lisdexamfetamine, which is a central nervous system stimulant. It is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Zoloft contains sertraline, which is an antidepressant and belongs to a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder and anxiety disorders.
What medications has been suggested to be taken is proper as it would help your child to overcome his condition.
Kindly take the medications as prescribed and follow-up as suggested, as these medications needs to be taken with caution and proper supervision.
Gradually, over a period of time, with improvement, these drugs can be tapered and stopped as per the medical advise.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
