Are Abdominal Pain, Back Pain And Fever Side Effects Of Flu Shot?
I had a urine test the last time that I went to my doctor and a flu shot. 1 week after my flu shot, I started having pains in my abdomin and back. First on the left side. Second day on the right. I took Miralax each day. I wasn t having regular bowel movements. Then on the fourth day at 1 am I woke with a fever 101-103. I was aching all over including the arm I got the flu shot in. It has been 3 days and I am still having fever. Foul taste in my mouth and very foul smelling cloudy urine. Is it just a different kind of flu?
This is not likely related to the flu shot. You might have a urinary /kidney infection. The fevers are significant, back and abdominal pains, and foul-smelling urine consistent with a bad urinary infection. I suggest you get to an emergency room or urgent care center and get this evaluated as soon as possible. Infection can go from the kidneys into the blood stream where it can become dangerous. Get it checked out right away. Hope this helps.
