Are Chilling, Nervousness And Palpitations Side Effects Of Radiation Or Thyroidectomy?

hi ? im already take a radiation of which contain 100 ug for my capillary carcinoma thyroid or i had been operated about 7 years ago as a result i am total thyroidectomy if their any side effect to this matter, by now theres a time i feel chilling, nervous, palpitating, my ears both ringing, is this an effect?

Hello and thank you for asking!
I can understand your concern.
The symptoms you described are not caused by radioactive iodine pill but are due to underactive thyroid.
Before taking the radioactive pill, it is suggested to stop the levothryoxine treatment , that is why you have these symptoms lately.
After restarting levothyroxine the symptoms will resolve within 1 month.
