My husband has pinworms and i have no idea if i may have them.. My son is 3 years old and daughter is 2 months old.. My husband is getting treatment but i want to treat the whole family knowing how contagious it is. But can i treat my 2 month old? Since she is sooo young? And what treatment is recommended for us?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pin worm is not contagious but more than one member of the family can be affected.
Pin worm spreads by feco-oral route and the worm excreted in the stools can enter via the oral route if proper hygiene is not maintained.
However, treatment by other members of the family should only be taken if there are symptoms of pin worm infestation.
Drugs should be used with caution in infants thus do not give any medication to your 2 month old son without doctors prescription.

Thanks and take care
