Are Small Red Itchy Bumps On Face Some Infection ?

Good evening, my name is Lou, and for the last several days I have seen small red itchy bumps on my face. more or less rash like. I do suffer from anxiety, and i dont know if this was brought on by stress (funeral this week i attended) . The bumps are slightly raised. Do you think I might have an infection of some sort?

Dear Friend.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.

Itchy red colored on face may be due to following:

1) infective: mostly painful, may or may not be pus filled.

2) allergic: itchy lesions , that may be precipitated by anxiety also.

3) Acne: may be itchy red colored bumps to start with. Acne may also get precipitated by stress.

All of these diseases have different treatment. I will advice you to visit your doctor in person so that the lesions can be visualized and correct advise can be given.

Or if possible kindly send me pics of the lesions so that i can help you better.
