My husband was recently hospitalized for Keto Acidosis and C-Dif from the antibiotics given to treat pneumonia 12/31/16. His blood sugars were nearly 900 and as it took 2 hrs for the lab to process, My husband was in delirium, knowing something was very wrong, and he had to do something, frantically trying to get off the gurney . I was unable to prevent him from getting up and they restrained him hands and feet. 2 days later when he surfaced and was able to communicate, we discovered his right calf muscle was hurting very badly and he had a gash on his right inner upper ankle, right above the bone. No one even noticed that, and after he complained for a couple of days and then I started getting pissy. LONG story but now his whole left leg from knee down is swollen and hurts to Walk on. No sign of red streaks i.e. infection but calf not getting better. Could this be cellulitis, DVT, or lymphedema. ? Thank YOU sorry for the manuscript
