Are The Loss Of Appetite, Nausea, Sleeplessness And Malaise The Effect Of Cortisone Injection?

I have bursitis - left hip. I had a cortisone injection (described by the doc as mega ) 10 days ago which resulted in an ecxascerbation of the pain that I had before the injection. I had another mega injection 3 days ago. The bursitis pain has relieved except for minor aching of my upper thigh and soreness at the injection site. What I am questioning is the flu-like symptoms I have had since the injection 3 days ago.....loss of appetite, nausea, sleepiness, general malaise. Is this a side-effect of cortisone injections in close proximity?.

Hello,

It is not related to Cortisone. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing all the best.
