Are There Any Survivors Of Tonsil Cancer?

are there any survivors of Tonsil cancer that spread to Lymph nodes and now found a nodule in lung My husband goes in for surgery this week to remove the nodule, I just want to know how long can one survive and or beat this Im getting not answers from doctor now I understand that they may not know yet :(

first get the nodule removed and get HPE done. If it comes as malignant average survival is around 1to 2years. If it is not cancer, survival depends on stage of primary lesion and he would live really long
