My daughter gets swimmer s ear on occasion and the ear drops that I have are out of date (the date is May 2013). The drops are neomycin and polymycinB sulfates and hydrocortisone otic. Is it ok to use the drops or should I throw them away and call doctor in the morning for new prescription?

Outdated medicines should not be used. Instead of trying any medicine yourself , please see an ENT physician for proper ear examination . That will help in diagnosis & management of the ear problem. Regards.
