Baby Not Responding, Not Moving Eyelids For Few Seconds. Doctor Consultation Required?
my baby boy is now 3 weeks old , and this strange thing i observed couple of times . when we are holding our baby , for around 20-25 seconds he didn't moved his eye lids , he didn't moved his body , and then we made some sounds and shake his body he suddenly started respond back .
on the first time we are really scared , it happened yesterday also . we are little worried about the behavior . is any one here experience before..?
should i consult any doctor for this ...?

your observation is very much accurate .
i dont want to make u anxious firstly . u should consult doctor .two episode of these kind of feature might be because of one kind of seizure called absence seizure .
get complete examination. EEG , serum calcium , magnisium and glucose level.
get treatment this is curable . no need to worry .
