Bilateral Tenderness From Armpit To Bottom Of Rib Cage, Shoulder And Spine Osteoarthritis
60 Year old female: Extreme tenderness bilateraly from armpit to bottom of rib cage. Condition has existed for years. Determined not to be associated with Lymph glands. Osteoarthritis suggested as I have engaged in heavy manual use of upperbody for years as well. As there is a diagnosis of OA in shoulder and spine would this pain also be OA related? Seems an odd place for OA?
I think it can be osteoporosis and osteoarthritis both. My suggestion is that you take calcium and vitamin D3 regularly. Also for osteoarthritis I would suggest you ultracet, hot water fomentation and diclofenec ointment. It is osteoarthritis of spine which us causing pain at side.
