Bitten By A Dog On Leg. Taken Vaxirab Shots, Booster Dose Previously. Should I Take All The Vaccines Again?

Respected sir My name is XXXX my query is I take vaxirab 5 shots in feb or march 2011 last year and booster dose in mArch 2011 . On december 15 stray dog bite on my leg can I taken full. Course of vaxirab or taken 2 shots only please give me advice I am so worried about my health and also tell me how may years vaxirab 5 shots give protection to human against rabies

Hi.
thanks for your query,
as you are previously vaccinated with full course of vaccination,so you will need only 2 doses.that is 0 and on day 3,
5 doses give protection for 5 years with booster every 2 years. to maintain protective level of antibodies.

hii..
as u have taken full course of ARV..u need to take only two doses of IM ARV on day 0 and day 3..no further inj required..generally ARV full course with booster gives protection for 5 years with booster to be taken every year..
so u go for two doses now..
