Bleeding After Intercourse. Is This A Serious Problem?

Dear Dr. Samuel,
I am very worried since i had this problem (BLEEDING AFTER SEX ) with my partner i never had this problem before. Few months ago my partner and i had contact as i was working abroad and been so long haven't sex. and i got this problem make me scared. Can you tell me if the antibiotics can help if this is not a serious problem? what should i do?

Hi,
Bleeding after sex can be a result of having rough sex or not having enough foreplay.
The foreplay is required so that your vaginal walls are properly lubricated for when he inserts his penis.
Another thing you can try is using lubricants, that way you can reduce the time on foreplay.
A question worth asking is how badly do you bleed? Do you feel pain?
If it is profuse bleeding, which is not stopping, see a doctor immediately.
