Bleeding Very Heavily After Intercourse. Suffering From Endometriosis. Had An Operation. Suggestion

hello, a couple of hours ago i started to bleed very heavily after having intercourse. A piece of white flesh came away from my vagina. the blood is far more like a cut/wound rather than a period. i have seen the doctor, owing to the pain he was unable to fully examine me, and he said to go to A\E. I have to the hospital for further exams and had the same trouble re examination (excessive pain). i suffer from endometriosis-this is what the gynecologist at the hospital put this situation down to......i am finding this hard to believe as i know how this feels and had an operation earlier this year to allieviate the main problem with this......I am still very concerned despite the examination earlier, because i think that there is a more significant problem, added to this i am still bleeding heavily over 8 hours later (i am not on my period). have you any suggestions or can help in any way???? PLEASE

Hi there ~

I understand your concern, and do not believe that the bleeding if from having endometriosis if you are also having associated pain with it. I suggest that you have a pelvic examination by a gynecologist who can locate the lacerated area and treat you accordingly. You may need stitches or cauterization if you lacerated a major vein or artery. I hope this helps.
