Bloated Abdomen, Discomfort, Exercise Regularly. Treatment?

Hello, I am a 27 year old male and for a little over the month it feels as though my abdomen has been bloated. I have not changed my diet or had any trauma. I exercise regularly and eat fairly healthy. My appetite and bm's haven't changed, but its constant discomfort. I have no palpable masses and no severe tenderness. If I take an nsaid it helps with the discomfort, but it is becoming quite scary. Thank you for any help.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Dear friend,

I am Dr. (Col) R Karanwal, M.D. (Internal Medicine), Consultant Physician, for your assistance.

Thanks for reposing your faith in me and post your query on this website. I fully appreciate your concerns.

From the description provided, it seems that you have developed an altered gut flora. Further, it may also be a manifestation of anxiety or stress disorders.

If you had visited my Clinic for consultation, I would have prescribed a course of probiotics and, anxiolytics in case of concurrent mental stress.

Please feel free to revert back to me in case of further clarifications, if any.

I am confident that you will benefit from the advice.

May I assure you that I am always available for your assistance. My endeavor would always be to give you a sound medical advice, to the best of my knowledge and vast experience.

HAVE A NICE DAY AND A SPEEDY RECOVERY.

Fond Regards,

Dr.(Col) R Karanwal
