hi there I 46 years old and have had heavy periods for last year so I got mirena put in 5 months ago I just had my yearly exam and he did pelvic exam he thought it felt like fibroid so we did ultra sound he said my uterus is enlarged and didn't see any fibroids but suspects endometriosis I hate the mirena it has made me soooo bloated and my stomache looks bloated and I have neverrrrr had stomache bloating im so tired all the time and so tense and neck sooo tight ever since I got this mirena what else can I do I m scared to take it out because ill bleed so heavy again

Hi, the reason behind the heavy period might be the pre menopasual condition of the harmones. or anemia of the heavy periods or endomatriosis which was already there.If you want to remove the mirena get your hemoglobin tested and get it corrected.
