Blurred Vision And Back Out After Being Hit On The Head. Headaches And Pressure In Head. Head Injury?
I got hit hard in the head during a soccer game in college last fall. I blacked-out and had blurred vision for the next hour or so of the game. However, I tested clear on all the concussion tests with my trainer. I have been struggling with waking up tired with head aches and pressure in the back of my head and neck that often make me dizzy. Could this still be a result of the hit or more likely something else?
The symptoms as mentioned in your post suggest that they are due to the head injury sustained during the soccer game.
Symptomatic relief is obtained by taking analgesics, ice compression & adequate rest.
However, if the symptoms still persists or associated with other symptoms such as vomiting, loss of consciousness, convulsions, etc. then it will be better to consult a Neurophysician. Investigations like X ray & CT scan of the brain will be helpful to rule out any intra cranial pathology.
There is no need to worry...you will be fine.
