Bowel Movements That Start With Gel, Turn To Clear Liquid And Then White Foam. Had Surgery For Bowel Blockage. Normal?
i have a client i take care of, who recently had a bowel blockage taken care of by surgery. i noticed that her bowel movements started out as a gel and turned to a clear liquid and then a white foam...how serious is this. she has had the gel bowel movements before and her doctor said nothing was wrong, this just seems weird to me

Liquid discharge with without frothing with Mucus discharge after bowel surgery is a common phenomenon.
You rule out any presence of pus or blood cells in stool by going for stool test.
If not found it then considered it as a normal phenomenon.
