Brown Discharge, Partially Protected Sex. Am I Pregnant?

My boyfriend and I have been very intimate lately but no sexual intercourse; he ejaculates on the bed. I was supposed to have my period on October 4 but instead of that, I ve been having this brown discharge which happens once or twice a day, and a very light red color when I wipe probably once a day, no period. His ejaculate might have touched me or some might have been on his finger when he insert it into my vagina .Please help, I don t know if I might be pregnant or is there any explanation for this ?

Hello and thank you for your question.
Based on what you described, most likely the answer is no. Sperm is very fragile and gets damaged or dies easily. If he is not ejaculating in you then chances are it cannot impregnate you. There have been cases where a woman has become pregnant supposedly by finger administered semen insertion but this is very very unlikely, next to impossible. You could be having stress due this incident and it can make you late. Menstrual cycles are not always on time and you can be a few weeks late and still be okay. You may develop your period in the next couple of days. Brown discharge sounds like the shedding of old blood. However you might want to go to your OBGYN to get looked at for possible infections or pathologies. Please relax and realize that the chances of pregnancy without sex in this manner is less likely than getting struck by lightening.
