Bruising In Right Thigh, Lower Waist And Spreading. Low Intensity Pain In Leg Muscle. Normal?

Hi, I am healthy male late 20's, not taking medication, and I have mysterious bruising on the very top of my right thigh and lower waist. Touching it does not hurt and it doesn't itch. It has been present for three-four days and appears to be spreading. The muscles of my right leg hurt with low pain intensity. There is no family history. Does this simply happen to people often or is this something I should keep a careful eye on? Thanks.

hello there!
thank you for asking. I read your query and i want you to know that bruising in the age of 20 with no previous history or trauma and for acute timings 3-4 days and continuously spreading with associated pain Altogether says that some thing is wrong. Your bleeding profile is not good. Pururaes is what we call them.Low platelets secondary to some cause explains it. You need to see a a Gp and get you bleeding profile assessed. A complete blood count would be a good start. Followed by Pt APTT INRs and see where the problem lies.
SO yes a watchful eye is needed but i wont be enough., you need work up and a good GP nearby to sort out the cause for you. As expanding bruise with no trauma history is no way normal and does not happen to people normally.

Hope i was of some help. All you need is to see a Gp and hematologist for assesmnet and you will be fine. I am sure it will be recovered soon,

take care
