burning hot iron feeling top of knees down to ankles, ankles muscles always feel tight,feels like worm crawling in lower legs, I cannot walk any distance, first symptom, it was if all my muscles in my body were running no movement on outside. This has been going on for over a year now with no dx. Had all the tests emg , waiting on skin biopsy , been like this for a year now, dr says its not Isaac s syndrome. Vicodin is only thing that stops the worms feeling my legs, its not RLS . I am 59yrs

In your age one other thing to rule out with symptoms like this is Peripheral neuropathy.
Screen yourself for Diabetes and hypertension.
Undergo a nerve conduction study.
Consult a neurologist.
