Burning Of The Eyes, Headaches And Sore Eye Muscles. Due To Wearing Glasses Or Stress?

Hi, I am 17 years old who has been wearing glasses for about 5 years now. Recently, for about a month now, I have been experiencing burning of the eyes, headaches and my eye muscles feel sore. It does not go away no matter how little or how much I sleep. I wake up and my eyes and head just hurt so much. What could be the cause of this? Is it stress, can it be from wearing glasses?

Hi,

Based on the information that you are having the recent headaches with red eyes, it seems that "ALLERGY TO POLLEN" is one of the major cause during the spring (march and April).

The changes in weather patterns is major cause of headache and are notice as seasonal changes, moreover the summer heat makes headaches more frequent.

Advice:
Consult the near by physician if it becomes unbearable or below mentioned remedies do not work.
Use over the counter anti allergic eye drops, which will help in decreasing redness.
try to wear protective eye were like sunglasses in heavy sunlight, avoid sun exposure at noon, take frequent break and keep your eyes shut for 5 min every 2 hours, sprinkle of cold water into your eyes will help.
