Burning Pain In Hands And Back, Fatigue, No Balance. MRI Shows Disintegrated Back Muscle. Advice

My husband has burning pains in his hands and back, he had little feeling in his arms, legs and neck, he cannot stand on his the heel of his foot. He has no balance, his fingers are very stiff, so stiff that if he holds something for too long he has to force his fingers open. His muscles have disintergrated. His hips are permanently sore. He has sleeplessness and fatigue, he also urinates alot during the day. He has a catarac in his left eye with a white dot in it. Sometimes at night he stops breathing. He also has these large knobs at the back of his knees and by his tailbone. We had a mri done, and all that we can see on it is that the back muscles have disintergrated. This has been going on for more than 6 months now. We have seen alot of doctors but no answers as to what is going on with him. Could you please give us some advice or a possible answer.
