Burning Sensation While Passing Urine During The Day. Normal Urine Routine, Culture, Ultrasound, Taking Plenty Of Water. What Is The Root Cause?
Dear Doctor, I am 45 year old male i have burning sensation ,during daytime, early morning no burning sensation my doctor tested , took ultra scan , urine routine and culture test . urine routine test normal, culture test result No growth .there is no kidney stones , what should be the cause for the burning sensation in urine , everyday i take 2 to 3 litres water, even i take more alos same thing. what is root cause for that..kindly advice. tks Kannan

Hi,
Would be preferable if you will repeat urine culture, blood test for prostatic antigen and microscopy test for Candida infection. During this testing period try avoid any sexual activity and maintain adequate hygiene. Try drink pure bottled water .Prior urine culture don’t take any antibiotics that will change your culture result. Ask also your life partner if she have not similar symptoms. It is important to know this symptoms appeared for first time or you have had similar episodes, if so possible you have latent infection that is undetectable by culture , that why you need to repeat it to rule out any infection.
