Can Colchicine Cause A Problem With Someone Who Has Crohn's Disease?

I have problems with gout. Dr. said it is due inheritance since I do not eat the trigger foods or drink alcohol. I also have Crohn's Disease. My question is about colchicine. My doctor is giving me 0.6 mg colchicine tables 2X a day for 6 months. I am supposed to start Allopurinol in the middle of this also and continue taking that the rest of my life. He assures that these medications will not cause problems with the Crohn's, but it concerns me that I read that caution should be used for people with Crohn's in taking this drug. I have had two serious bleeds in the past due to anti-inflamatory drugs given to me and am concerned that this drug will make my stomach bleed. Can this drug cause a problem with someone who has Crohn's?

My opinion-
In the given situation-You seem to be more vulnerable to Bleeding with Colchicine,as you already suffer from Croh'ns.
PPI with domperidone to treat this side effect would be needed in your case.
Though crohn's is a different entity,gastritis or acuter drug induced caused by cochicine could aggravate bowel inflammation in stomach/ intestines,which could lead to bleeding,this possibility hence can't be ruled out.So precautions need to be taken with options to avoid it.

Further suggestions in this regard would need ore information /investigations after getting more details from You.
