Can Cytomel Cause Depression?

I just had my cytomel increased to 25 mg BID and have been experiencing severe depression and fatigue. Was thinking the side effect would be more of weight lose ,anxiety, rapid heart beat...not depression. Could it be the cytomel? Im a marathon runner and have no problem running 20 miles. My runs have been very hard since the Rx increase.

your symptoms may be due to over dose of cytomel,
consult your doctor again,
get blood test for T S H ,
keep T S H at 2.5 to 3.
always increase cytomel 12.5 only at a time,
depression,sugar,hyper lipidemia are associated with hypothyroidism,
blood test for lipid profile sugar ,
take care.
