Can Glucosamine 1500 Complex Taken For Inhured Shoulder Be A Problem When Taken With Micardis 80mg Tablets For High BP?

Hi, I am using Micardis 80mg tablets for high blood pressure and I would like to use Glucosamine 1500 Complex to assist in repair of a injured shoulder. the Glucosamine 1500 Complex tablets also contain potassium. Can this be a potential problem or risk.

Hi,
There are no recorded interactions between Micardis and glucosamine. The amount of potassium in the glucosamine complex is low and will easily be managed by your kidneys. Therefore, you can take these two drugs together.
